Hi!  I'm Michelle

I started By the BookKeeping from my passion to help small business owners. In working with business owners, I recognized that accounting and administrative functions are not typically a business owner's strong suit and bring about stress. That's ok, I want to help so that you can concentrate on what you love to do, run your business.

My career began in retail, moving on to non-profit, then small to midsize business. I have been successful as an Office Manager, Quality Analyst, Operations Director, Accounting and HR Manager to name a few roles.  I also hold a Bachelor's in Business with Accounting Major.

I love numbers and what they tell me. From data entry to reporting, every piece of the puzzle has something meaningful to say. I am also crazy about organizing. Just let me fix it, whatever it is! Give me a few minutes to stare and analyze, ask you some questions, then I am off to it. Trust me, the end result with save loads of time.

Some would say administrative and accounting work have been my destiny. My favorite thing to play as a child was office! What kid do you know is obsessed with playing office? My friends groaned about it, but I could not get enough of the manual adding machine, forms with carbon paper, ledger, files, red pens, and all sorts of clips. I had a blast.

Here I am today, still doing what I love!
